Re: Basketball favorites

Good writeup, LionJacket. Yea, I'm not entirely sure what to make of McCort. I think they might be better off in some regards with an overhaul of the roster. Fornari could have helped them last year, but they kept the JH group together with him on there and they went like 21-1. They had 6 pretty goo...

Re: Basketball favorites

Johnstown, Bishop Guilfoyle, Bedford, Westmont, Penn Cambria should be the top teams for boys in the LHAC. -- Johnstown's Joziah Wyatt-Taylor is the best post player in the league. He's a force, and Dre Toney is a good guard. -- BG loses a lot, but Patrick Haigh and Cameron Khoza is a good place to ...

"Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."

I like that quote El Moldo, do you think it would apply at all to any of the first 45 presidents of this country? Maybe one of the more recent ones?

I think they'd be in AA if they'd co-op.

The numbers game has easily been remedied at BMCHS in the past. EVERYONE knows how they play "the game". Different rules than most other schools.
See I always thought that was a Forest Hills thing.

Realistically, McCort and BC should co-op their football programs.

Re: ESPN reports Penn State is looking to join the PSAC in 2021!

It wasn't so much that BC was losing, but they were having trouble fielding a team with enough players. Is player attendance down at BM? I think it will start to be. In the 2016 PIAA Classification cycle McCort was listed with 141 boys enrolled and played AA. McCort fell to A after that with a repo...

McCort's combined Junior High team (7th and 8th grade) went 0-8 this season. They scored one touchdown all season. Unless there's a great group of kids hanging around in 5th or 6th grade at Divine Mercy, I think you're looking at the LHAC nudging out the Crushers like it did to Bishop Carroll.
