Re: Basketball favorites
When exactly was Johnstown just a 'decent' team? Outside of the 'daddy-ball' years under Rich Price, they have been very good. Give Durham credit, but Johnstown has been a strong program for a long time.
Re: Qb 2020
14 local kids named all-state, and several others from within the local conferences. Does it seem to anyone else like more local kids are being recognized on the state level than in past years? I remember only a select few local kids being named all-state 20 or 30 years ago.

Re: Winter sports
In hindsight they should have never cancelled Spring sports, when we had very few cases. Not looking good for winter at all at this point. Everywhere I go, people are wearing masks. Not sure what else we can do at this point.

Re: Break out player of the year
I'll throw a few names out there (that were new to me at least), that look like they will be impact guys going forward. Granted I didn't see many teams or games this year.

Re: FH dream team is falling apart
This sounds very similar to the group of 'superstar' elementary athletes that left CV for fame and fortune at BM a few years back. They just went 1-7. My guess is that FH will be fine.
Re: Johnstown
We always hear about Johnstown's discipline problems. They're 0-9. There's bound to be frustration. Give the coach credit for getting good effort from an 0-8 team.

Re: Richland - Southern Columbia
Bedford and Central played at a neutral site. Wasn't that a state playoff game? It won't matter where they play this one. Good season rams.

Based on yesterdays paper, PO's coach would say yes. But I don't know how you do that fairly.

Re: Game of the week #1c
Richland has a loss, the others don't. Probably as simple as that. Richland's not as good as last year, but have a strong line and enough play-makers to get by most games. Don't know enough about Belwood, but probably a close game. I don't think Richland has played on grass all year. Could high gras...
