Re: Bringing back the draft?
The only reason parents and anyone else fails is because they give up. Just because a kid makes a few wrong decisions doesn't mean that he or she is a screw up for life. Like you said, there are many out there that are still making stupid decisions well after they are out of their parents control. B...

Re: The Black Panthers vs. Juniata Valley
I hate to see this topic get off track, but on the bubble? Coach Foor's first 2 years as a head coach at Northern were rough. We were learning new defenses, new philosophies, and the team as a whole was young. After he had a group of seniors that went through with him as a coach for all 3 years of v...

Re: Bringing back the draft?
Gunner, thats why there are these people called parents. It all starts at home. Reinstating the draft for that purpose would do nothing but put the the responsibility of "cleaning up" Americas youth to the armed forces. In my opinion like i said before, it all starts at home. I realize tha...

Re: Shippensburg @ IUP...battle of PA!!!
SHIP's defense isn't the team that he's gonna want to try and get more experience with. Ranked 8th in NCAA DII, and first in the PSAC, he's gonna have a fun time trying to rack up yards. And if the O-line is young and inexperienced, it's going to be a dismal homecoming for IUP. Better luck the rest ...

Re: The Black Panthers vs. Juniata Valley
If bleacherbumps info. on JV not running much is correct, there's no reason why NB can't jump on this team and continue winning. If the same run defense shows up this week like last week, they'll hold a fast JV team to 100 yds. +/- rushing...keep everything contained and don't let them break somethi...

Re: Shippensburg @ IUP...battle of PA!!!
The interesting thing about this game is that Coach Rees has yet to beat IUP EVER since he began his tenure at SHIP. He's won coach of the year awards, gotten to Nationals, but never beat IUP. Hopefully, this year, 17th time's a charm. This game comes down to the defense if they're gonna win. Sophom...

Re: Bringing back the draft?
What? I'm not one to put my political preferences on a message board, so that's not the case here. This is simply an email that I got and it had some interesting information. And, I said that I couldn't guarantee that the information was correct or not, just something to think about. Personally, it ...

Bringing back the draft?
My roommate sent me an email that he received from a friend of his that is currently in Irag stating that possibly, by June of 2005 that the draft could possibly brought back into effect. In his letter, he states that any boy or girl between the ages of 18-26 could be enlisted. The letter also state...
