Re: Playoff surprises?
I like #5 BG to win it all in A. I like #4 Richland to win it all in AA. You always have to look out for low seeded LHAC teams playing high rated ICC/Heritage/Westpac teams. SH could be a bit rusty after two weeks off. That is a long bus ride for Heights down to the southeastern part of the district...

Re: Southern Hunt vs Everett now off
SH are the ones that cancelled due to positive tests. Probably better for us, since we aren't having the best season anyhow What have you heard from your end about FH vs Everett this coming weekend since FH was to play PC, but PC is in the playoffs and we aren't, thereby having in essence an open d...

Re: D6 1A-3A Playoff Picture
In class A? And did mount union opt out? Mount Union is under 14-day quarantine due to a similar situation as Bishop Guilfoyle. There's been a spike of cases/presumed cases in the district/community, but we're still going back to in-person learning on Tuesday. I guess the administration didn't feel...

98 was 56-13 Huntingdon. No such 81-0 win occurred, so the original poster was incorrect.Goldeneagles12 wrote: ↑October 15th, 2020, 3:14 pmIf I could take a guess that was probably the 98 Huntingdon team. Pretty sure they murdered everyone that year.

Any word on Huntingdon and Mount Union?? https://www.huntingdondailynews.com/news/local/schools-report-positive-cases/article_6895aa9f-be3d-515d-8887-4532cd6b88e9.html Mount Union is going to remote learning (had been full in class since start of the year), football is shut down for the next two we...

Re: District 6 playoff scenarios
Dave, why would it matter if teams don't play 10 games? Just thinking out loud here. Wit the current climate being what it is, be grateful we get the games we got, move forward, and hope to GOD that things settle more back to normal for the indoor winter seasons. I didn't say that every school had ...

Re: District 6 playoff scenarios
Why didn't they cut A to 8 teams so nobody had a bye? Are the schools who are getting the byes going to look for opponents to fill that week? There's no guarantee that next week will happen this year. The ADs already have it rough this season, but I hope they can find opponents when they lose even m...

Johnstown Vo-Tech played one year in the ICC before folding. I'm not even sure they won a single game that season.

Re: Philipsburg-Osceola forfeits last two
I wondered why Curwensville would be interested in the ICC and then I checked mileage for their football games. Yikes! I thought Everett, NBC, Tussey, and Southern Huntingdon would be a hike for them, and they are; but my goodness almost all their trips are that length now. It'd be refreshing to hav...

Re: Philipsburg-Osceola forfeits last two
Curwensville was an ICC member up until the mid 90s in football. I didn't realize how close to the northern tier of the ICC they were.
