Re: Richland vs. Southern Columbia

It doesn't matter where it's at. They could play it in a Wal Mart parking lot in State College and it wouldn't be worth the trip. SC will be up like 42-0 at the half and it'll end up around 56-21 final. I hope not, I'll be rooting for Richland and the D6 but let's be honest. SC recruits better than...

Re: Friday Scores

And that too. Play in the LHAC and see how often you go undefeated or for that matter have a winning season. That comment doesn’t make any sense. I’m sure anyone would agree the LHAC is more competitive from top to bottom, but other teams can win. Why didn’t anyone use that excuse the last few year...

Friday Scores

Sounds like the Richland / LV game is a turnover shootout. I turned the radio broadcast on in the second quarter and so far... Richland fumbled, then LV fumbled inside the five. Third quarter Richland throws a pick, LV drives down the field and throws a pick in the end zone. Sent from my iPhone usin...

Re: Holy Stats.....

So with all of the “move in” / “redshirting” coincidences, is the football aspect of the program really that good or just the “recruiting”? I would find it hard to celebrate something that was artificially manufactured. If you want any sense of accomplishment, at least play in the 6A division. I und...

Re: District 6 Class AA Playoff Standings

With the change to six classes, the districts haven’t adjusted the playoff structure very well. I’d like to see an agreement with all schools that this is how many teams will be making the playoffs. If you qualify, you play, you are not allowed not enter. The number of teams are too high. I think th...

Re: This is getting ridiculous

Maybe these programs need to take a year or 2 off. Some smaller schools have to many options for sports taking away from the budget of the bigger sports. Time to eliminate something. What other fall sport would you suggest CV eliminate?  The only other offering they have for males is golf, which on...

Re: Pull the plug

Philipsburg is forfeiting their final 2 games to Clearfield and Penns Valley. I heard they were down to 21 healthy players (from 37 total).  That's a ton of injuries. That’s crap if they have 21 and pulled plug. Tyrone dressed 19 for district championship (and won) my junior year.... if you’re hidi...

Re: Ligonier Valley

LV is a joke. They are playing schools with a 1/3 of the enrollment they have. Move up or get to the WPIAL. If LV is playing within the enrollment guidelines, I don’t understand how people get upset with their success. If they were recruiting, I would understand. They were denied the player transfe...

Re: Thursday Scoreboard 2-28-19

BG dominating West Branch this year isn’t completely about private vs. public. The lopsided playoffs within district 6 is more about the poor classification system. Six classes in the state is way too many. Private / Charter vs. public is a problem, but I don’t believe it had a lot to do with distri...
