No offense to D-5. But most years I'd rather play a D5 team than any WPIAL school. For instance in AA girls , McCort gets a 20-4 California team while Bellwood gets N Bedford. And BG gets a D9 team. That's just one example. Seems odd that the loser may be better off in the long run.

As for the JV coach, I'd thought they would have been better this year. But with a lot of underclassmen, they will be my pick to win the conference next year and maybe districts.

What does Richland feel about playing in Bellwood's backyard as a 1 seed ?

LHAC. ICC is no where near the best. My kids go to Bellwood and I'm comfortable saying that. Their football is average and their basketball makes football look like SEC.

Don't blame him. Bowl games, especially second tier bowl games are glorified exhibitions.Time for the staff to see what they have for next year.

If you look at other states, PA was late to the party. I liked it but still think they need to revisit the traditional district format.Should be evened out a little better.
