Re: Football Crisis in Rural PA?
Ummm...yeah it actually does the most common tribution to most schools athletic budgets as its one of the few sports that actually makes money. Most of the other sports cost the schools more than they bring in. But thanksBedrock wrote:Football is not paying for any other sports. This isn't D1 football.

Re: Football Crisis in Rural PA?
Has anyone heard potential rumors of Bishop McCort and Bishop Carroll potentially doing a co-op in some sports in the near future? Fake news, other than football what sport is an issue for either school Several especially Junior high sports. Football is the sport that helps pay for the other sports...

Re: Philipsburg-Osceola forfeits last two
Area schools moving all 9th graders to varsity was one of the dumbest things ever and I firmly believe it was one of the death blows. Along with too many sports options at small schools with not enough kids...period Very few kids are physically and mentally prepared for varsity football as a 14-15 y...

Re: 10/11 Scores
Well now that we know its Portage vs Ligonier Valley....what do you do If you're Coach Gouse and the Mustang's? Essentially this game won't mean much to Portage besides I suppose Westpac Pride maybe? Portage will almost certainly have the #1 or #2 seed in D6A locked up and have a good chance to mak...

Re: 10/11 Scores
No offense to JV or BG, but I think Portage is the favorite this year in single-A. Pride aside, why risk what is your best opportunity to win a district championship over this game? Who's favorite outside of Portage? BG might not even be the best Class A team in the LHAC that will be determined in...

Re: Richland vs CR
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. CR still needs to play a good BG team and if they come out of the gate like they did last week, coming back with 7 minutes left in the game, down by 14 and scoring 3 straight touchdowns I don’t think will happen against BG...take it one game at time, no need for CR...

Yeah he didn't get much running room. McCort kept him contained for the most part. He did his damage throwingCCDevil2012 wrote:Did Pfister play?Crushersports wrote:McCort 14 Ridge 14...McCort playing undisciplined ball.in the 4th quarter 3 personal fouls on the game tying drive. 2:54 remaining
