Re: Pitt Suspensions

I'm thinking that leading police on a chase including driving on sidewalks should be a suspension worthy, DUI or not. I thought that Bookser had an alcohol incident before??? What type of legal trouble is he in? I'd think that IF Bookser had been suspended for anything more then the warmup game that...

Re: Pitt Suspensions

I have no idea what the 3 longest suspensions were for, but color me unimpressed at the 1 game suspension for Bookser. http://pittsburghsportsnow.com/2017/05/16/possible-punishment-alex-bookser/ "Bookser allegedly led police on a chase through Oakland, and there is video of his vehicle swerving...

Re: District Six Baseball Playoffs Second Round

Probably should put up a banner for the Adams-Summerhill title won back in 1962 also.

Re: This is ridiculous

On the D5 side:

Current:
Shade > North Star
Windber > Conemaugh Township

I believe former coops with unknown status now:

Shanksville > Berlin
Rockwood > Berlin
Salisbury > Meyersdale
Southern Fulton > Everett
Forbes Road > Southern Huntingdon in D6

Re: This is ridiculous

Co-ops are often for 2 years, as the PIAA classifications run for 2 year cycles. This was illustrated for the 2015-2016 wrestling season, as it was rumored that Westmont Hilltop would not let Bishop McCort out of their 2 year co-op agreement. A D6 Wrestling Coop list for this year that I saw: Willia...

Re: Ridge to the LHAC?

I haven't seen great school by school data, but I did find this for the 2015-2016 School Year. Bedford County 12th graders = 597, 1st graders = 473 Cambria County 12th graders = 1,342, 1st graders = 1,169 Somerset County 12th graders = 785, 1st graders = 656 So it looks to me like Bedford County enr...

Re: Ridge to the LHAC?

The Oct 2015 Male Enrollment Figures, I haven't seen more recent information but the trend has been for big enrollment declines in Cambria and Somerset County schools, small enrollment declines in Bedford County. Somerset 308 Johnstown 298 Bedford 251 Forest Hills 243 Penn Cambria 213 Central Cambri...

What Golden Rams and Crimson's Ghost said.
Texas went 5-7 while facing only 5 teams with winning records last year...I'd say that Texas with a new coach traveling to a top 5 USC squad is more likely to be a blowout then a close game.
