Re: Week 2 Surprises?
Here's my opinion on this. The game is a game and it is up to the opponent to stop you. It's not rubbing it in if the other team also is still trying. If one side put the JV in so should the other team losing or not. Don't try to pick up some cheap scores with your Varsity to make the game seem clos...

Re: Hardest place to find a seat?
I disagree bleacherbum. Outside of an artificial surface (which I don't care for) the BEA field doesn't offer much. I'd say it might be 3rd or 4th on the list. Clearfield has a great field with lots of seating. Tyrone for field atmosphere and seating. would definitely be ahead of them. My bottom wou...

Re: HERITAGE WEEK 2
I will agree the Mountain League does not have the quality from top to bottom. I don't know that any of the other conferences would want Clearfield, Central, and Tyrone added to their schedules though. These conferences are more than about football though. Who volunteers to wrestle against Bald Eagl...

Re: Mountain League week 2
Chronister is not a starter this year on either side of the ball. He gets sprinkled in but is in the coaching dog house. I say the game comes down to big plays. Bellwood couldn't score without out them and I don't see Central driving the ball either. The defense is very stout in the front 7. On the ...

Re: District 5-8-9 AA Playoffs
If it is like the past they are all lumped together. District 5/6 were once together in AA. Still a point based system with the top teams advancing to the playoffs. No district would be guaranteed a spot. It would be off the points, the teams are seeded by the points and work through a normal bracket.

Re: Mountain League wk 1
I think the shocker of week one is game number 3 Huntingdon and Mt Union. There is no doubt that Mt Union has talent, but the sleeping giant is returning. I believe that Huntingdon has some legit talent and may surprise a lot of people in the next few years. The underclassmen are players

Re: WesternPAFootball.net Big School and Small School rankin
I don't believe that Bellwood will make it to the District final nor do I believe they will handle Tyrone this week. They were better last year and couldn't handle these teams.
