Rockwood has a 26 man roster according to today's Tribune Democrat. Conemaugh Valley also had a roster of 26. Conemaugh Township has 30. Ferndale just 19. The PIAA probably should implement a minimum roster size. 19 seems to be too low. 22?

Wouldn't transferring back and forth wreak havoc on one's academics which as some of you may know, is the whole reason we have schools in the first place?

Lefteyelouie, how many times did you get your bell rung and not say a word?
If there are as many faked concussions as you suspect, football is in even bigger trouble than it is because it is clear that few kids really want to play.
I bet there are more concussions than are actually reported.

9th graders are moved up so teams can field junior varsity teams. In the Heritage Conference you were lucky if your team ever played a JV game, now they usually get to play a full schedule. SChools like Ferndale and CV don't play many JV games. 9th graders are needed at those schools to field varsi...
