Re: Bishop Carroll n Leechburg's wish can come true
The top mountain league teams would be crazy to pick up BC. They would be playing an “A” team with a few wins at best. It would hurt their playoff points. ICC would be a better fit.

Re: Scores 9/1/17
I always hated playing games in any sport when we weren't in school. Kids seem to thrive when there's a routine. Many times they sit around most of the day and don't seem to have much energy or focus.

Re: PIAA State Baseball Playoffs Round Two
With that question comes a topic of conversation, I wonder what everyone thinks about how to use your pitching in the postseason. The state tournament, weather permitting, is 2 weeks. Monday, Thursday and Monday -Thursday/Friday. You look at a lot of the scores and the games are generally low scor...

Re: Classification of Private Schools
I believe there is a severe problem with private / charter schools unfairly taking advantage of the rules to dominate the lower state classifications. Especially in basketball. However, the percentage statewide of students that "move" to gain athletic advantage to a better team is very min...

Re: PM getting Artificial turf.
In my opinion, turf is a wise investment. The upfront costs seem large, but you save on the back end. There is some maintenance involved, but very minimal. Plus the district isn't chewing up hours of labor having maintenance personnel constantly mow, line, water, fix, etc. to a natural surface. Plus...

Re: District Six Boys Basketball Power Rankings 2/5/2017
Anyone have insight on when the 1st round games will happen for A, AA, and AAA? I'm thinking either Monday, February 20th or Tuesday, February 21st.

Re: Bellwood Girls Score 101
I believe it matters in which way the 100 point threshold was met. If the team was relentlessly pressing the entire first half and into the second, I believe there is a problem. If they dropped the press after the first quarter (36-6), I have no issue with the 100 points. Your starters deserve to pl...
