Re: Appalachian Bowl

LV has  has a great program , they need to leave the heritage conference to take the next step , a state title. It will be a chalange but possible. A few years ago they would have Won the states if they were in the wpial, I do think they will be AAA when they do the next reclassification as they are...

Re: How would you solve the forfeit problem

The problem with mergers are , Paying off the Debt ! Example given Penns Manor .  They Have relatively new buildings and therefore probably have substantial debt . Under current rules The taxpayers from PM would have to pay off the debt before they merge. Taxpayer backlash would end the merger plans.

Re: How would you solve the forfeit problem

Not all forfeits are related to enrollment size sometimes there has to be other reasons, Example United forfeited  games this year because they didn’t have enough players. When  you look at their enrollment numbers they are almost AA with 110  boys . Something else must be wrong !

How would you solve the forfeit problem

I would eliminate crossover games and create an open date Districtwide in week 10 . The open date could be used first, for any canceled games early in the season due to injuries. If  the team still don’t have enough players to play the game in week 10 then Teams ( their opponent ) can look to other ...

Re: Westpac - Heritage matchups

Homer center's all  everything QB  has played very few  snaps  since the Saltsburg game. He may be ready for the playoffs.  Also their best receiver is injured .  I don't know his status for the playoffs.

Re: Heritage-Week 1

If saltsburg plays like last year   They will be tough to pick last year they beat WS  United  Marion center  but lost to Blairsville   Then beat PM and  almost beat NC in play offs
