Re: THE RACE TO 16 WINS
Agree. 2 goals prior to the empty net were all on Letang. Defense as a whole was bad, but Matta and Letang especially.223113 wrote:Too many mistakes by defensemen. Well, we'll see if they clean it up, and come back to win the next 2.

Re: THE RACE TO 16 WINS
Near the end of the game, Oshie launches off his skates at Letang. Replay showed both skates airborne. Launching to make a hit is a flagrant penalty, it wasn't called. The league needs to suspend him too- he's as much of a goon as Wilson, except he scores goals too. 100% agree. As a whole, the ...

Re: THE RACE TO 16 WINS
Not only did Letang gain possession of the puck, he made an on-the-tape pass to Guentzel for a goal! Ehh, that's not exactly true.....the pass went to Crosby first for the assist to Guentzel! Letang touched the puck before the trip occurred. Couturier didn't maintain possession through the ice... L...

Re: THE RACE TO 16 WINS
That tripping call was no where near as bad as the one missed in the flyers series.... Watching it live it didnt seem to be a trip, but instead just a really bad turnover late Except that tripping in the Flyers series wasn't, you know - tripping. Rule 91 - Tripping (NOTE 2) If, in the opinion of t...

Re: THE RACE TO 16 WINS
Murray made some incredible saves (but would probably love to have that 1st goal back). The Pens looked awful in the 1st 2 periods, and Murray kept them in it. The 3rd period was Penguins hockey. If the team can pull of that win after the way they played in the first 2 periods, then hell yeah - #3el...

Any truth to this rumor? If so, that's a tough break for him and the team.sparky wrote:Rumor is Cassidy is out for the year.

Always a good tournament to gauge how well you will do at state duals. Most of the big boys across the state are there.crfball wrote:Pretty good dual tournament this weekend starting at 8 am Saturday. Be interesting to see how CR does at it against some pretty good competition.
Re: KOM
Cassidy lived in ridge before he wrestles at Bedford. They have a farm in ridge district now. And I don't know anybody from Hyndman who moved in I was thinking the same thing. Look at all the starters. They have all come up through CR feeder program with the exception of Cassidy. And I really do...
Re: KOM
Funny how the Cassidy question got deflected. Maybe CR also recruits?! Hmm I don't think the question got deflected. More likely, it's that everyone who knows anything about local wrestling knows how ridiculous that question was and they know that Coach Lazor is a stand up guy. That's not the wa...
