Re: BG Canton

Congratulations to BG. They returned few starters from last year, started the season 1-2, lost 2 more during the regular season, and then caught fire during the playoffs. The recruits that turned the tide for them must have come in around weeks 10 or 11. The PIAA should investigate that. Maybe coac...

Apparently everyone in the pile gets credit for a tackle. Tackle stats in high school should never be taken as an importan...

Re: Conference jumping

Tyrone would be a good fit if that is true. However wouldn't they need someone else to join too to keep an even number for football? Who else would be a good fit? Windber? Bellwood?

Re: Williamsburg

Tyrone and Juniata Valley are playing. Doesn't look like they are playing Tussey unless there's been a late minute change in the schedule.

Re: District 6 Finals Tickets Baseball / Softball

You don't pick up the tickets you order online. You either have it on your phone or print it out on paper. The bigger drawback I see is the extra fees you have to pay when you buy a ticket online. I can see why they do it though. It's definitely easier on the sites and needing less people to work an...

Re: PIAA Boys State Playoffs

From Bob Greenburg on Twitter
From PIAA's Bob Lombardi, the basketball brackets were set up this year with the District with the larger number of schools in that class at the top of pairing. That is why D7 will get an inordinate amount of home games.

Re: Top 10 local skill players 2010 through 2020

Aaron Tobias from Penns Valley had 8034 career yards and 99 TDs according to MaxPreps. Those are probably the D6 records. Also holds the state record with 54 TDs in a single season.
