Re: PIAA- All 9th Graders to High School Football
I've seen kids having moderate junior high careers where you see some athleticism, but wouldn't fully engage in the game. By the middle of their 9th grade year, after being through camp and practices, maybe by just watching the older kids firsthand, they start getting what they need to do "to g...

Re: BG Rebuilding
https://twitter.com/PhysGenLevine/status/805079514892079104 Hmmm should I send my child to Bishop Mccort --100% graduation rate, $7 million in scholarships for class of 2016, 92% pursuing post secondary degrees or to Johnstown with a 77% graduation rate but they will have access to Narcan Anything ...

Re: PIAA- All 9th Graders to High School Football
Portage freshmen have been with the varsity/jv teams for years. Had three freshmen contribute through the past season..one got a good bit of playing time throughout the year. The other two got their playing time due to injury. All handled it very well..even excelled at times. If bumping freshmen cla...

Re: Thoughts on 6 Classifications
More events ..More money for PIAA and whoever. I thought the 6 classes was a good move for most. I really believe some local teams benefitted in the new 6 classifications.

Re: BG Rebuilding
Agree, Portage held their own that night..actually only a handful of plays from a probable win. Seen Altoona play that year also, they had some studs.

Re: BG Rebuilding
Im sorry i didnt mean the 2014 i meant the 2015 and 16 teams. A few of these players transfered to bg near springtime so he saw them come in then. You can call me a liar but ill believe people in that attend the school than alumni trying to save face that makes more sense and when refereeing to the...

Re: Conemaugh Township vs. Farrell
Wasn't at the game.... but Might be CT were still reeling from the LV loss. Things didn't start well against Farrell, and the old "here we go again" syndrome snowballed on them. Conemaugh Township was a solid team with heart. Seen it quite often, the mindset of a team can outweigh the tale...

Wasn't at the game, but by the posts I get the vibe. If by chance we do win? Portage will go to Mansio...

Re: Friday Scores 11/18
BG-LV would be a great game. LV utterly destoryed a very good team. These are the same people that ripped Bietel bc Ligonier plays the disrespect card. Liggy absolutely dominated McCort, yet they are still insinuating Ligonier would have no chance against Guilfoyle. The guy gives your team a comp...
