Re: Football Classifications 2020-2021
Correcting a post from earlier. BG did NOT qualify for success points ( 1 in 2018 and 3 for making finals in 2019 for 4 TOTAL PTS) but DID qualify for transfers (2 each in 2018 and 2019 = 4 total.

Re: Football Classifications 2020-2021
First, Coach is correct, their was a glitch in the database and some schools with coops may not have been calculated correctly. Meyersdale IS "AA" in football next cycle. Second, the competition formula will kick in next cycle. It is a combination of acquiring points via playoff advancemen...

Re: portage, ferndale, blacklick, conemaugh valley to D5
Charlie Conway " PIAA's decisions are often headed up by a majority of retired or about to retire athletic directors that do not want to see their system changed." Incorrect. Two AD's sit on each of the local (5&6) District committees out of 15-20 overall committee members. The State A...

Re: United’s Kyle Silk moves to Ligonier Valley
Regarding the multi sport--now favorite in basketball comment posted earlier. Re: Saturday Scoreboard 2-23-19
Get over what you "wish" ..... it is the way it is based on proportional representation formula and yes, incidents like you pointed out (Central on paper much more deserving that Bedford or Westinghouse) Or I pointed out in my example are just part of the way it goes when proportional stre...

Yeah wish the D5 teams would play with D6 in 4A and they would take 2 to states. Would have been a shame had Huntingdon got sent home with 1 loss. Meanwhile a 12 loss Bedford team beats a 17 lo...
