Re: D6SN: District Six AA Playoff Primer
Those 2 sites are usually alternated. A couple years ago, we played Wilmington at IUP. Before that, we played Sharon at the Rock. Yeah, I get the alternating sites to ensure a decent gate, but I still think playing at IUP is ideal for the D6/D10 matchup in AA since it is centrally located. if the o...

Re: District 5/8AA Playoffs
Wouldn't say Karns handled ridge last year the score was 35-29 I believe and it was a good game. If anything ridge mistakes led to Karns win. Ridge ran for 350 yards. That isn't the definition of handled Fair enough, but CR only found the end zone once in the second half after running wild in the f...

Re: District 5/8AA Playoffs
Yeah, they were 6-6 that year and beat Karns City in 3OT in the first round before getting blown out by Greensburg Central Catholic at Windber in the quarterfinals, but you have to admit that the LHAC was pretty impressive that year. FH and BM were both undefeated with BM reaching the A final. Richl...

Re: D6SN: District Six AA Playoff Primer
I'm not going to argue the cheap shot, but they were far from the only team to give Wilmington a run for their money: AA First Round: Wilmington 21 - Slippery Rock 14 in OT AA Quarterfinals: Wilmington 21 - Central 19 AA Semi-Finals: Wilmington 29 - Aliquippa 28 in OT AA Final: Wilmington 35 - West ...

Re: District 5/8AA Playoffs
5AA has to have the easiest road through the first couple weeks of playoffs in the state. #cakewalk I'm not sure I agree with that. The match up against the D9 champ is equivalent to the D6 championship game when you look at the state bracket . Karns City handled CR last year at a D9 site, but they...

Re: Johnstown finish with 3 wins
Tough to call. Penna certainly had two nice seasons to start his tenure, but some would argue that Marabito left him setup very well. I know the LHAC is tough, but they are the biggest dog (with a huge roster) in the conference and should have more success. My guess is that Penna will get another ye...
