Re: Pitt Basketball

El Moldo, almost every basketball team that is hovering around the .500 mark can point to a few close losses that shaped the trajectory of their season. That's what mediocre teams do, they are in too many close games. You could just as easily point to the 1 point win over Northwestern (13th out of 1...

Re: Pitt Basketball

That’s basketball in general though man. Comparing different eras. Watch Villanova play Georgetown. It’s the same game as Duke vs Virginia Tech

Re: Pitt Basketball

Yeah I’ve never really been a fan of the narrative that basketball is that different conference to conference. As crimson said, officials jump from league to league. Additionally, the game is played indoor in a relatively controlled environment. Yeah it’s tough for Wisconsin and Minnesota football t...

Re: Pitt Basketball

There are 2 old sayings. 1) "I don't fire people, they fire themselves" and 2) "You can't polish a turd". Both pertain to Johnson. And what has Jamie Dixon done so far at TCU? They are 11-10 right now, 4-8 in their conference, with games remaining against Iowa State, Texas Tech,...

I was surprised to see that Xavier Johnson is requesting an immediate transfer out of the program? Is there more to this story? Assuming Champagnie goes the the league, this will seem to be a pretty big step back for the Capel rebuild project. Less than a decade ago I felt like this program was teet...

I’m not sure. All the smart guys voted for Biden. Not enough of us no brain Trump supporting dummies came out to vote.

Plus I feel the media led the sheep out to pasture. 6+ years of constant negative reporting is impossible to overcome.

Re: 20 people tested positive for Covid-19 after attending a high school wrestling tournament

People died all over the globe due to COVID. We have a free society so of course cases were a little worse here than other countries. I had family stuck in Cuba for 5 months during covid and if you want to PM me I can tell you about their experience. Let's just say everyone was locked into their hom...

America gets what they vote for. Buckle up. Yep, we found out the hard way from 2016-2020. Trump was a meany. Wasn't "presidential" Meanwhile: -ISIS was obliterated in a few months -Best relationship/peace with the Korean peninsula in 8 decades -Most peaceful Middle East in 100 years -Bes...

Re: 20 people tested positive for Covid-19 after attending a high school wrestling tournament

Joe Biden has been in office 2 weeks. Has he made a public appearance yet? Does he have any foreign relation travel plans? Heck Wall Street and the integrity of our free market was in limbo last week and he didn't even mention it. Pipeline and its tens of thousands of jobs gone. We stopped leasing f...

Re: Bedford Athletics renovations

The cost to build Blair County Ballpark in 1998 was $20 million. This is approximately $32 million in 2021 when adjusting for inflation and increased construction costs.
