Re: Making Single A Fun Again

You gotta love the people on here supporting the University of Altoona. There is just nothing more fullfilling and more rewarding that buying wins at the high school level. It just doesn't get any better than that. I assure all you BG turds  that it's definitely more enjoyable being a part of a sma...

Re: Making Single A Fun Again

I already told you this once BG has had 3 that's right 3 kids transfer in a some point during high school. I challenge you to find me teams around the state that don't have any kids transfer in at some point I'm sure those teams would be a minority.  Everyone else on your list went through parochia...

Re: Making Single A Fun Again

In fairness I don't believe BG people truly understand how lopsided this situation is.  Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with BG dominating SIngle A if they at least tried to look like a SIngle A school.  Keep the roster between 35-40, play predominately with your 8 or 9 catholic kids in each cl...

Re: Making Single A Fun Again

Point is with a talented group of kids..plus a few added talents. Changes everything.       By the way, Do you think anyone in Portage would care who we’d play after finally getting out of D6... So 2014 was a homegrown team 2015 was also homegrown except for Mcgeary who had been for all intents and...

Re: Making Single A Fun Again

This is simply untrue. My cousin was on that team and there was atleast 1 or 2 linemen who transferred in that year or the year before. 2014 starting line: Leamer, Berger, Coyler, Wolfe, and Luther, no transfers, mcgeary transferred that year, and was a freshman, didn't play I think the point is be...

Re: Making Single A Fun Again

[ol][li]Fballrules17:[/li][/ol] Can we explain who transferred in that made the difference in the three previous title The following is from maxpreps, it may not be 100% but pretty accurate I would guess. 2011  Record 1-8 Roster Size:  38 (Wheeler's first season) 6 Seniors 10 Juniors 10 Sophomores ...

I also have family that were on that team and there were no transfers

Re: Making Single A Fun Again

If Portage we’re allowed to get a “talented” transfer or two in 2014..there wouldn’t been no game against Clairton for BG And if my Aunt had nuts she'd be my uncle. I'll give you that Portage did have really good team that year,  but didn't BG win by 2 TDs, without any transfers on that team. Porta...

Re: Homer Center v. BG

I'm curious about something. Why was the Westmont / BG score so close? If Westmont came within 6 points of an upset, I'm wondering what made that happen, and if HC couldn't do better in the same circumstances. To me HC seems more versatile and just as physical. Not sure about the size comparison.  ...
