Re: LHAC going up in flames?
Until Berlin wins a couple ICC titles, then the narrative will change. But Meyersdale is at best middle of the back, so i am sure the ICC wants them. Can anyone post some travel times from southern Somerset County past all the schools in the LHAC to the ICC schools. I will throw out the first which...

Berlin and Meyersdale fit well in the ICC.

Re: Boys State Playoffs
Last non open enrollment school to win 1A? JV in 1996. We came close. With how many fight each other for top spot, the success formula won't help the issue. One moves up, but that doesn't fix the system. It's just sad. 1996 – Juniata Valley 1997 – Sewickley Academy 1998 – KC 1999 – KC 2000 – KC 200...

Re: D6 postponed
The scanner is very sensitive. I ran it for a game a few weeks ago. As soon as it scans, it may scan again a second later. You have to move the ticket quickly or you have this error. As people scanning learn this, it helps for sure. There is a feature where the scan person can also easily see who al...

Did they push back their vote? That’s what I heard.
It feels more like BA is voting to join the Mountain if they vote on something.
BA playing teams Tyrone, Hunt, BEA, PO, PV makes sense geographically and in terms of size.

Re: Football Scheduling High School
Those Portage teams may not have won Districts, but I think a lot of people still know they were top 5 teams in the state. The arguments there aren't scheduling and are the old argument of private vs public and bring up a whole different discussion. Those Portage teams were unbelievable.

Re: LHAC going up in flames?
In the same breath, treat other sports differently. Basketball is different physically. Allow teams to geographically schedule. NBC plays Bedford and Ridge already. Maybe Berlin could play Richland and CC and so on among teams. Football is different and should be treated as such or we potentially ge...

Re: LHAC going up in flames?
Richland has developed into a great, great program with terrific facilities and athletes. Clearfield has been an AAA team just like many others in the LHAC. From my perspective (I have never coached AA/AAA teams), single A is a different animal that is impacted more from year to year than schools wi...

Re: Football Scheduling High School
If I was CH I would be happy as heck. They had all kinds of publicity. Their team was on tv. They were all over the front of the Mirror. Kids and the community have to be more excited than they’ve been in years. The weight room is likely going well and the excitement for a team that will now be clas...
