Re: Altoona University
Which is why the success formula does not work for private schools. The ups and downs of non public schools are much faster. Look no further than basketball at 1A. One moves up and the next powerhouse moves in...Kennedy, Sankofa, Imani...Kennedy won 1A, then 6A, and this year almost didn't have a se...

Re: Aliquippa to 5A
I think 5A might be a bit excessive. They do get the transfers in for sports, but why wouldn't you with the success they have. They're sending loads of kids to college. I just wish more schools would move up on their own or the PIAA would make them for private/charter ability. It's better for these ...

Re: SCA. Westinghouse
Preach! The big issue is consequences don't always immediately take place. Best example is basketball. Kennedy and Imani Christian won titles in 1A with huge transfers, literally. Alier Maluk for Imani at 6' 11" and Oscar Tshiebwe for Kennedy at 6' 8"(Pacers). They win 1A, then move to 6A....

Re: Cambria Heights vs South Williamsport
Why is there an argument that a 1A public school should've stayed in the LHAC? They clearly made the correct decision.

Re: NBC v Windber
By correct choice apparently as they were competitive in the conference with schools of their own size???EnzoLigoniere wrote: ↑November 10th, 2023, 9:06 am Again by choice.
Also choose to play Uniontown, easy win
7th in the conference for enrollment so not sure what you want.

What the heck are the 70's? Bottom of my foot says "Est.1990".
It's a shame. I would've liked to have seen a full health full squad rematch from last year.

Re: Heritage Rankings
Seems to me Berlin had been invited to LHAC but chose to play in the ICC. I remember the days of LV bullying the Heritage This past cycle Berlin had 61 boys. This is 10th smallest in the state football. Co-ops increases that a lot for football, but it's more important to keep all sports in mind. ht...
