typical response and why most people outside the "Johnstown clique" despise the schools in the LHAC because of their arrogance and ignorance.

What else would it be? Couldn't be travel. You guys are at the base of the pleasantville mt. You have the size to compete with the big boys of the LHAC. Why wouldn't CR want in the LHAC? Wasn't it your football coach who got Bedford in, years back? What are his feelings now about joining?

Coudn't be travel? Been there done that just in football. Now it would be all sports hauling kids from grades 7-12 up p-ville mountain for everything even in the winter? Not likely. Ya that trip to Patton stunk in Sept. for JH football what about JH girls basketball in Jan.?

And speaking of travel who is going to travel from the Johnstown "clique" to watch anything? Even in football the only "clique" school that travelled well was forest hills. Gate receipts plummeted especially when McCort and Westy came to town, or didn't. Bedford has the exact same problem in all their sports now. The Ridge/Bedford game this week will probably have more in total gate receipts than all of Bedford's other home games COMBINED.

Speaking of size...conferences aside, ridge is almost identical in size to Windber and North Star wouldn't they be a better fit in the LHAC than Ridge?

A LHAC Basketball team makes eight road trips per season within the conference. It doesn't snow every night around here even in the worst of winters.

Considering all the rain games they've had at home, this game could be close to double at the gate what Bedford has taken in all year prior to the Ridge game.
