Hornets, granted Tyrone has won by 50 the last 4 weeks but look who they played. Not saying they arn't extremely dangerous, but let's see how they do the next 2 weeks vs. Clearfield and Central Mtn. We can make conclusions then after Week 8.

I think this Tyrone team is evolving each week, their next two games will definitely be their biggest tests of this evolving Tyrone team. That being said, if they pull the upset and win out, I sure wouldn't.

They're playing in their old conference again, but must not have changed districts yet. It sucks for them to join the district and the Mountain League, only to be sent packing after 2 years.

That's what I was implying. Even if they don't win out and loose to a what seems like a very good clearfield team. If they can get into the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed. I sure would be worried if I was the number 1 or number 2 seed. (Richland, LV)

Regardless of what seed Tyrone is they look to pose a serious threat to anyone in the playoffs. These next few games will be a great test but I wouldn't be surprised to see them win both.

Tyrone should be 3-6 area seed wise, if they pull the upset this week and win out they will go as high as #2 . The offense is doing what was expected from the start, now that they semi-retired the veer and are more spread type; The defense and special teams is what ignited the explosion the last few weeks. The Eagles have scored 6 times since week #2 with either defense or special teams(and they didn't get one this week). If they keep that up, they could surprise the Bison...in the words of Lloyd Christmas..." so ya say there's a chance!?!"...haha It'll be fun to watch.

Defense definitely wins championships, and stepped it up they have. Win or lose vs the bison I think it will serve as a learning tool that will only benefit them for the playoffs.

I am amazed how many key games are left on the schedule. BG and BM are kind of in a nice spot with just each other left. PM has LV and HC. Portage has both Blrsv and HC. Bellwood and Richland square off in a huge match up. Moshannon and blairsville play one another. Single A is going to be so great to look at every week.

Wow Homer-Center has a really tough set of games coming up, as does Glendale. Both teams could easily drop 3 of their last 4 games and miss the playoffs.

On the flip side, Blacklick Valley has an extremely easy set of games aside from North Star.

I think most of the top 8 will most likely stay there, but Homer-Center could easily fall out and be jumped by Blacklick Valley or Northern Cambria.
