Re: top underclassmen in the area
Soph- ol/dl Colby Pannebaker, started both ways last year for Eagles as Frosh.... And at times I thought was our best lineman.. Also jr Ricky Reader was a force on dline last year too

Along the line for FH, this years' Soph-to-be Tanner Gavlak, played a LOT as a frosh last year, with all the FH linemen injuries. He'll have bigger things expected of him this year.

From Purchase Line Hunter Rice was very good as a freshman. He started at MLB and FB. He rushed for 500 yards and 8ypc from his fullback position. He benefited from having one of the leagues premier players lining up behind him but he is a hard nosed runner and a very good blocker. He was also one of the teams leading tacklers from his linebacker position and seems to be in on every play on defense. He will play FB again this season but is expected to play some tailback and eventually move there full time once Syster graduates.
Another good Sophomore from the heritage is Ligonier's Colin Smith. He was a very explosive player last season for them. He played several positions last year but is expected to move to QB this year.
I think both of them will have big roles on their teams this season and will continue to develop into two of the better players in the Heritage.

Re: top underclassmen in the area
Anyone know of any Laurel Highlands underclassmen?
Re: top underclassmen in the area
Matt Holsinger is a 6-5 210# freshman TE/WR at Central Cambria making a solid impression.
Re: top underclassmen in the area
Just asking. The Holsinger boys have all been big kids, with an issue of growing too fast and having back problems. Do you think this could possibly be an issue with him also? For his sake lets hope not.
It ain't over until it's over.

Any underclassmen from Richland or bishop guilfoyle? Richland lost a lot of seniors and guilfoyle has a strong senior class this year, is there anyone there to back them up?

Richland should be down but I hear Guilfoyle has a big physical junior class and also some remarkable athletes as rising sophomores this year. We will see how they can make an impact.footballguy98 wrote:Any underclassmen from Richland or bishop guilfoyle? Bishop Guilfoyle has Rising Sophomore Evan Chadbourn. He is the younger brother of the Allstate QB. He started every game at corner as a freshman. I hear he is faster than his brother.
