While we're just throwing out dreams. Why not Beaver Stadium, we can be like the WPIAL. It has hosted Championships in the past :)

Personally, I like it the way it is. Higher seed gets a home game until the finals. That rewards the team for having a good regular season.

However, I think it would be cool to see the finals moved to Beaver Stadium. I know that's not really a reality, but it's a cool idea!

I would actually rather play at a high school sized stadium like Mansion Park and have it packed and loud than play at an empty college stadium. When the WPIAL plays at Heinz it kind of takes away from the atmosphere of a high school sporting event. I could be in the minority though just my opinion.

Just too darn cold for most passive observer fans to come out. I admit I am one of those. I wouldn't mind driving to Altoona for these games if it was 50 degrees. Got to love PA in late November.

Windber will have a State-of-the-Arts Football field next year. The Ramblers are rebuilding a 4.5 Million bunker...I saw the plans too it.. It's pretty nice...

I haven't been down to Windber Stadium since we played there middle of this year so I don't know whats going on there currently. That being said is this renovation REALLY getting done for next season ?!?!? Seems to me from the design I saw there was a LARGE amount of work to be done in a very short amount of good weather time. Also I knew they were denied the NFL Grant to Improve their stadium, and they're already renovating their school so are they just jacking up taxes even more to cover the stadium costs now or did they find another grant ?!?!? Sorry I've only vaguely followed this story so If I missed all of these details just lead me to a post or link that I can read It if you don't want to type and update me.
