Why not take in three? The rumor mill has thrown Central, ligonier and CR into the mix. All three would be a nice fit competition wise. Two create a bit of an issue with travel. The new classification system could force some realignments. Conference alignments could get interesting real soon. Classifications should be released real soon.

We just had for the most part a worthless week of playoffs.  The season could be shortened by one week by getting rid of these scrimmages pitting the eight seed against the one seed.  BC would be foolish to leave the LHAC for football.  Besides, who would take them?

Please cite one example of them not caring about "students from around here".
The school is too small enrollment-wise to have a basketball coach prevent some of its best athletes from playing football.

As long as Hayes is at Bellwood, they will never leave the ICC.

I don't understand why Central would even consider getting back in the LHAC.  They were their once and got out, going back to the Mountain.  Why would they jump back and forth again?

Honestly, I like your concept. Wouldn't surprise me to see district boundary based conferences. Especially in 6. Will be interesting to see the number of schools that jump from AA to AAA. Perhaps new conferences will even be formed and the LHAC, WestPAC and Heritage will all disband. Maybe the old Appalachian schools all merge back together. A lot of interesting possibilities.

6-A Section 1: Blairsville, Homer Center, Northern Cambria, Penns Manor, Purchase Line, United, Saltsburg, Bishop Carroll, Blacklick Valley
6-A Section 2:  Portage, Conemaugh Valley, Ferndale, Claysburg-Kimmel, Glendale, Juniata Valley, Mo Valley, St. Joe's, Bishop Guilfoyle
Each team plays 8 conference games and 2 teams from the other conference.
6-AA: play a full round-robin (with West Shamokin)
Problem solved! It's easy if people are willing to actually change things.
