Nobody can touch BG if they stay healthy and a rematch with Clairton in the state final seems to be in the cards if Lamont Wade can return. Sure, Williams Valley, Tri-Valley, Jeannette and Rochester could make things interesting, but reclassification has really watered down class A with perennial powers Dunmore and South Williamsport moving up to AA. Down years for Old Forge and Steelton-Highspire contribute to the "weaker" than we're used to seeing in class A.

I sort of forgot District Six jumps into states at the semifinal round, so I just can't see anyone on the left side of the bracket stopping BG. In year's past, the D6 champ had a tough game with District 3 than a really tough game in the Eastern Final.  Now they just have one of those games.

Totally agree with BG being the class of the field in D6.. Wondering if there are going to be some slow starts with the four teams having a week off ?

Nice touch Raven...Guess all involved just go down to the local practice fields and tell the kids to quit... Oh well "we're just going to give it to them"

Not so fast my friend...just a few short weeks ago PSU didn't deserve to be on the same field as OSU...but at the end of the day, PSU pulled one out...that's why you play the game...anything can happen...sure BG is the clear cut favorite, but stranger things have happened than an upset in high school football...

Stang and Dcor,
lets think about it, they beat the possible AAAA champ ( Johnstown), probable AA champ(McCort) and possible AAA champ (Bedford).   Raven, just being honest.  No one matches up with them , with the biggest line in D6, best tight end in D6, best Lb in D6. senior QB who has been there before.  This team came in to the season with the attitude that it was state championship or bust.   And they lost a 49 touchdown scoring stud and you would never know it.   Also have played games this year without their QB.
They are that good. which of the remaining teams has a shot?   please break down the matchup and how you see BG losing.
