No worries. Just figured if he won an award we can get his name right.

Congrats Exree.

Really!!!!! Johnstown Tribune Democrat Sports explain to us with 3 open spots for second team running back how on God's earth did you determine the 3. Did you go on a long time coaches player a coach that was stepping down and had to keep one in town.
The long time coaches RB had 1340 all purpose yards with 13 TDs. The coach stepping downs RB had 1334 all purpose yards and 7 TDs. Finally the keep it in town RB had 1204 all purpose yards and 13 TDs...and all these teams played extra games in the playoffs and some more than one.
You guys owe Nick Hite a major apology. How dare you overlook him. Nick Hite had 1879 all purpose yards and 20 TDS and he did this in 10 games. What is wrong with you guys??!!. These teams are nothing but a joke full of politics. who knows who. Tribune you all should be ashamed of yourselves.
Hite could've and probably should've  made first team at RB his numbers were done in 10 games the keep it in town first teamer had 1498 all purpose yards and 17 TDS and this was done in 14 games. Yes I know everybody can't be happy but come on this is tragic.. Nick Hite deservedly should have been on one of those teams at RB. Don't put him on Defense as a cop out just to get him on a team offense was his bread and butter.  Put him on the team he deserves. Improve your system because it's very flawed..

Unless I'm mistaken, the TD has always done an OPY and DPY. Since when did they add a third overall player of the year?

From a McCort perspective, I think Anthony Walters and Carnell Andrews are McCort's two best and most talented players, however statistically speaking you could argue that Ridge Phillips and Imil Britt should have been first team selections in their place. Phillips had more tackles than Walters and and Britt had more tackles and interceptions than Andrews.   So it's one of those things that could go either way. Fortunately for Mccort, all four players are juniors.

Guess we can all object to who got picked & who didn't for our favorite teams. Congrats to those who did get picked.

Congrats to all.  Lots of underclassmen.
It did feel like adding player of the year was a way of including Exree in the big awards after he was left off all state team.  But nice to see some hardworking kids recognized, regardless if they were on the offense or defense.
