CR to the LHAC is the first move of several to remove privates and charters from the league. You can't remove the Bishops without replacements. I would assume a Holidaysburg would be the next team to join.

The league is set for now at 12. Bishop McCort could see the same fate as Bishop Carroll eventually. But not in the immediate future.theprophet wrote:CR to the LHAC is the first move of several to remove privates and charters from the league. You can't remove the Bishops without replacements. Seems like it would be Hollidaysburg from what I'm hearing. Not sure if a bunch of AA and AAA teams want a AAAAA team in the league. Not sure if a AAAAA teams wants to play a bunch of 2A and 3A schools. But they don't have a home either, so I guess that's the selling point.knowitall wrote:If not Ridge, who?

Wouldnt Ligonier Valley be a logical addition to the LHAC? Their enrollment compares to the other schools in the conference.

It would, I don't believe they have any interest.
Re: Ridge to the LHAC?
LV already took their ball and went home, not such a good run in the LHAC last time.
Re: Ridge to the LHAC?
The Mountain League would be a much better fit for Hollidaysburg. At least they would have a few schools close to them in size such as Clearfield and Bellefonte with a little less travel. Not sure if Penns Valley, P-O or Bald Eagle would be for it though.

No. Too many egos in Indiana to drop from the premier (wpial) league to an inferior low life (i.e. ANY league other than the WPIAL). Ask them!!!!Colonel Mustard wrote:Indiana?
