District 6 A, AA, AAA

Post by Earl34 »

Five weeks in, which teams have a real legitimate chance at district titles?

I think we will have repeat champions at all three classifications.

Repeat at A and AA but I think Huntington and FH will be tough outs in AAA

Triple A could be interesting. For double and single, the better question might be, how will the brackets play out. Who will LV and BG play in the championship. Both could be interesting if you take away the clear cut favorites.

I think in AA you have BA, BM, and MU as your other 3 finishers in the top 4. All are hoping to be on the other side of the bracket from Liggy and hoping the others go through a slugfest with them LOL

Other teams to watch will be Heights and Richland. Both would be tough first round games. At least for the two ICC schools

Richland does appear much improved.  Interested to see the McCort-Richland game on Friday.  Could be a potential first round game in the playoffs.

I am hoping that will prove to be a good one this week.

There is an awful lot of talk on here about playoffs. Only 5 or 6 teams mentioned out of the 42 that play in these divisions, 26 that will qualify for the playoffs. Only 3 will win a title. Since a title is most likely out of reach for so many, maybe people should lighten up a little and let the kids enjoy the sport and get the lessons fromit it we all did!

AA comes down to McCort and Ligonier, unless they end up on the same side of the bracket.

A is BG and either Portage or HC

Sorry, Earl but 5-6 weeks or a 10 week season is usually enough to tell who the dominant teams are. It's a message board for free thought and opinions that's why we're here and it gives us enjoyment.
