How would moving to the LHAC benefit portage in any way? They do well in their conference & make the playoffs yearly so I doubt they would want to do that.

I'm hearing BC will play all the Mountain League teams who need games to fill there schedules. Probably will also play St. Josephs and possibly pick up some other regional teams with a bye week here or there (District 9, James Buchanan, District 4, out of state) but the Mt. League will provide 6-7 opponents.

Has any further movement occurred regarding BC and remaining in the LHAC for nonfootball sports? iirc the PIAA, PA Catholic Conference and the local state rep got involved to keep BC in the conference. My impression was that the remaining members did not want to go to the hassle and legal expense to remove BC from the conference at this time.

ICC probably wouldn't be a bad fit. But people would start complaining if they started winning. On the other hand they are a single A team with numbers currently down. It wouldn't be terrible for them to be in the ICC. There's already quite a few crossovers between the ICC and Mountain League, stretch it to at least 1 per week, and it would fix the odd team number for the ICC.Aiks19 wrote:ICC probably wouldn't be a bad fit. The top mountain league teams would be crazy to pick up BC. They would be playing an “A” team with a few wins at best. It would hurt their playoff points. ICC would be a better fit.

Wouldn't west PAC be better for BC? A small school league and more in their area.
