More than likely unless Bedford gets some wins from the 3 teams they have beaten which doesn't look promising.

Big match up for seeding purposes in the single A portion. Penns manor vs Ferndale could help penns manor move up to a 6 seed or allow ferndale to potentially catch up to 5 seed juniata valley

Even more important is 2 and 3 seeds facing off. Winner of that match up will gain a 2nd seed and get home field rights for the potential rematch in the semis

A couple interesting things with one week left.  In AA, LV and BA are tied.  If they both win, LV will get 190 from BBV and BA will get 170 from NBC.  Then - it comes down to how many of the other teams that each team beats wins on Friday.  BA's number will probably be about 4 or 5 because the ICC all play each other.  LV's other wins could be anywhere from 0 to 9 becaue of the crossover.  Bottom line - if the Heritage wins 4 or more - LV is probably 1 seed.  If CH loses to GJ and WH wins - then both CH and WH will have the exact same number of points, and since they did not play each other - they played all of the same teams, they beat all of the same teams and lost to all of the same teams.  So the tiebreaker will come down to a coin flip for the 6 seed, while the other will get the 7 seed.  It looks like WS will get the 8 seed if they win and be out of the playoffs if they lose and Richland beats BC.  But upon further review, if WS loses, Richland will get 100 points from BC.  And they will likely get no points from the teams they beat (Bedford, CC, and PC who will all be heavy underdogs this week).  If WS gets three wins out of the four teams they already beat from Blairsville, Saltsburg, United, and MC - they would tie Richland and then probably beat them on opponents winning percentage because Richland played everybody in the LHAC except for BG and the Heritage may win more games this week.  So - if the
Heritage wins a lot of the crossover games, a 4-6 team in the HC (with mostly A schools) would be seeded higher than a 4-6 team from the LHAC which has much larger schools.  That does not seem right - but its the way the rules are set up.

In A - as Kongo said the 2-3 seeds play each other for home field.  Also - in the quarterfinals - the winner will get to play Friday and scout Saturday which is an advantage as well.  The question is - how much do you show the other team while still trying to win the game.

So the crossover games are set (saw in another thread) can they get 4 wins?

Last year the Heritage got eight wins, and the games last year were at Westpac schools.  This year they are at heritage schools.  So....conventional wisdom is that the Heritage will win most of the games.  I don't know.  My guess is  - as a whole - the Heritage is slightly weaker than they were last year.  But we will see.

Bellwood is a lock for 30 extra points and could get as many as 50. Probably 40 is the safer bet. JV and TM are the wildcards they are the 2 teams in ICC Bellwood didn't play. JV most like beats Everett and hopefully West Branch takes care of TM. Bellwood would already be down 20 before power points kick in. They need West PAC to take 7 of the remaining 9 crossovers.

But on the other hand. Bellwood can't worry about things they can't control. They will have their hands full with Northern Bedford.
