ICC Preview

Post by ICCfanatic »

I think that the top contenders this year are going to be of course Bellwood, Juniata Valley, and Claysburg-Kimmel being the big sleeper to finish 2nd or 3rd in the conference this year. West branch took a big hit win the transfer of Kyle Myers and I believe SHC will be at the top four this year.   Coach Black will out coach the league and get his team to 6 possible seven wins.  Followed by Mt. Union and Mo Valley.  I look for Glendale to beat Everett, Williamsburg, and TM and one other team just not sure which one. So here is my prediction 1.BA 2. JV 3. CK 4. SHC 5. NBC 6. Mo Valley 7. West Branch 8. Mt. Union 9. Glendale 10. TM 11. Everett 12. Williamsburg

1. Bellwood-Antis - the beat goes on despite passing of the head coaching torch
2. Southern Huntingdon - This group is loaded and could present the biggest challenge to B-A
3. Juniata Valley - Lots of good athletes, Will their line hold up?  Also a threat to B-A
Big Dropoff after the Top three and many unknowns from here on down the line
4. Mo Valley    5. NBC   6. Claysburg  7. Mt. Union   Throw these four mid-range teams in a hat this could go a lot of different ways but nobody on this list should challenge for the title.   One of these teams will probably drop a notch to the bottom rung by mid-season, but who?
8. Tussey Mt.  9. West Branch  10. Everett  11. Glendale  12. Williamsburg

Bellefonte. Will ease the loss of Dylan Dietrich for the Red Raiders for sure.

1.   From the VALLEY of the Jolly GREEN giant.    JUNIATA VALLEY.    Their loaded and waiting.

3.  Ummm.    Tough to call.   Next 3 in no real order.      Southern Huntingdon.
4.  Claysburg.
5.  Mt. Union
6.  Mo Valley
7. Northern Bedford
8. Everett
9. Glendale
10.  Williamsburg
11.  West Branch
12.  Tussey Mountain

I think JV, BA and SH are the teams to beat in the ICC this year for sure.

On Maxpreps the SH-NBC game is scheduled for August 30 which is a Thursday night. Misprint? Or is it being played that day for some reason?

I know there’s been talks of referee shortages. So maybe that’s it.  Or it just could be a misprint.

Referee shortages and schedule shifts will become more prevalent.
It ain't over until it's over.
