How can Richland and Ligonier have the same points? Richland has wins against a A, AA, 2-AAA, AAAA, Ligonier has wins against A, A, A, A, AA. Point system right with more points against bigger schools?

You also get 10 points for each win that a team has that you have beaten. Example: if you beat a team that has a record of 4-1, you would get 40 points, plus the points for the classification (A, AA, AAA, etc.). It helps to beat teams with good records as much as higher classification.

Yes HSD6FAN explained it well.

LV opponents they have beaten have 12 combined wins = 120 bonus points
Richland opponents have 5 combined wins = 50 bonus points

Is it safe to say unless a couple teams fall off the map at 1-5. That 6-9 in AAA are eliminated.

The next to last week of season, Westy hosting FH on Sat. will be Yuuuuuge determining 3A seeds.

And then FH follows that up with Penn Cambria to close the regular season. Personally I think the current top 4 will be the 4 teams representing the 3A field.

I agree with you on that.

I agree with both of you on that. The contrast of styles between Westmont and Bald Eagle Area make it an intriguing matchup, and who does not want to see Tyrone vs Forest Hills?
