Re: Records about to be set?
Been watching Fyfe since he was a Freshman and If he Isn't a poster child for an athlete that Improved every year I don't know If you'll find another one. Definitely Interested to see how this team will compete in the Appalachian Bowl, Districts and beyond. The offense Is obviously potent, unfortunately they'll have to start outscoring teams when the competition gets tougher because their defense Is no where near the other side of the football.12HankQB wrote: As I said before, Brady Fyfe is looking to make the list. He's past Pryor on the total offense list. He's up to 9,333 yards, incredible stuff. Excited to see how far he can carry this Shade team.

Daugherty is a better player than Tutino and he has better size. He is at Cal U, which is a great school that sends kids to the next level. A slot at a comparable school seems about right.

Were you there because I was and I can promise you that he was the best wideout on the field. If you were there and don’t agree then I totally respect your opinion. He lined up against kids who already had multiple offers and burned them so yes he has. I get that he hasn’t played against top level DBs in the regular season and the competition in the conference is hurting him, but how many high school wide outs line up against D1 level defensive backs on a regular basis? He was also the smallest wide out on the field by far, which is why I was thinking that might be the reason. He got a lot of love from Pitt, but they never offered. Schools can teach you to run routes, they can’t teach size. That’s not the only camp he showed out at either. Yes, he is better than Daughtery was from a year ago. I never saw Hoenstine play, but Tutino is the best high school wide out I’ve ever seen in person. His talent is obvious regardless of numbers. I’m not sure if anyone else on here has had the chance to see the kid perform who can weigh in. I know that I’ve seen Fleming from SC play on three separate occasions, not the largest sample size, but Tutino is better than him in my opinion and that kid has had big D1 offers since his Freshman or Sophomore year, biggest difference being his height. He will be playing D1 ball somewhere for sure, just doesn’t look like it’ll be D1 A at this point.CoffinCorner wrote:If he was the best player at Pitts camp he would be already offered. His level of competition will hold him back from playing D1. Has he ever lined up against anyone who will play defensive back on the next level? He might have better numbers but is he any better than Jackson Daughtery was last year or Alex Hoenstine from two years ago.MrAnonymous wrote:It is very interesting. He was being recruited by a number of larger D1 programs since his sophomore season, but none pulled the trigger on him. I don’t think D1 AA schools typically give out early offers so I would expect he will get some during the season. I’ve talked to a number of people about this and they all say that it’s definitely not his grades or any issues like that. I’ve personally seen him compete at a number of larger D1 invite only camps and he does extremely well. He was the best player on the field at Pitt’s recruiting camp this past summer and clocked a 4.5 forty so my only guess would be his size...5’10 and slightly under 170...Not your prototypical D1 wide out as far as size goes.

Did he just say he's better than Fleming??? So basically he's the best WR in the country in your opinion???
You play to win the game!!!

Windber is hosting the Appalachian Bowl this year, Penns Manor gets 2019.youngbuck wrote:the problem is this really should be played at a neutral site as neither school will be big enough to handle all those who would like to attend this game
If it comes down to LV and Shade, it’ll be a fireworks show on that turf.

Haha did you ever watch Julian Fleming play? I said I saw him three times, not a big sample size, but Tutino is every bit as good from what I saw. He just isn’t as tall.DragonsDoExist wrote:Did he just say he's better than Fleming??? So basically he's the best WR in the country in your opinion???

He has better size without a doubt. He was not a better wide out than Tutino is. Also, there were other reasons he didn’t go to a bigger school, outside of playing football, and ended up at Cal U. (which is a great football school, I agree)Jimjohn81 wrote:Daugherty is a better player than Tutino and he has better size. He is at Cal U, which is a great school that sends kids to the next level. Fleming is #9 overall player in the nation for 2020 class. I'm sure they have watched him play a time or two. Not saying Tutino or Fyfe aren't great local players, but saying they are better than top 10 players in the country, #1 rated WR in the country, is likely a stretch.

Not sure anyone said Fyfe was better. Clearly not.PsuDfense30 wrote:Fleming is #9 overall player in the nation for 2020 class. I'm sure they have watched him play a time or two.
