Playoff Rankings - Final*

Post by DragonsDoExist »

Here ya go folks. Quick math so hopefully all accurate. Obviously there are 3 games remaining Saturday that count toward these numbers so these are all based off projected wins by Ligonier Valley, Marion Center and Purchase Line Saturday night. Only things that would change should those 3 games play out differently...LV with a loss would drop to #3 behind Bellwood-Antis...MC with a loss could fall to the 8th spot...CV with a win would jump to #9 and bump Saltsburg to #10...PL with a loss would be out and Blacklick Valley in.

If I’m not mistaken a PL win and a CV win means BV is in.

A CV win would have no affect on BV as they lost to CV.

But with 370 points wouldn’t they edge out PL with 360?

Tough luck for Penn Cambria, they needed a Huntingdon win (which happened) and to win themselves, and the game was a lot closer than expected.  They came up just short of a playoff bid.

To bad the refs had to control the outcome of the game at a crucial point of the game not the whole game.  One signals TD one doesn't. As some mentioned by some the game meant nothing to FH but everything to PC. The only 2 that can really see the plane of the goal were at odds on the call. Then how was it determined to go with the fourth down call? Was it to bail coach out of the stupid decision to go for it on 4th down at their own 20 and PC was going to capitalize and win and make coach look bad? Cause it was at FH?  I'm sure if it was at PC it would have been a TD.

I see on Maxpreps that Somerset travels to Westinghouse for a playoff game. So I take from that Punxsutawney is going to Bedford. That's a heck of a road trip.
