PIAA Meeting on Public vs Private Issue
Chances they actually accomplish anything here? Or will the PIAA continue to turn a blind eye while Private schools continue to dominate due to an uneven playing field?

The blind eye is a heavy favorite here
It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

1A-4A for all Public Schools. Big & Small School classifications for all Private Schools. Problem solved.
Re: PIAA Meeting on Public vs Private Issue
A better question is how many superintendents of schools with perennial 2-8 teams will travel at taxpayer expense to attend the meeting.

Open borders for all schools, public and private, Go BG! And I'm aware that Posting anything on here in support of a private school is like posting positive comments about Trump on an Antifa website, let the negative comments begin!

No, you're fine. People don't hate private schools, especially locally. Certainly there's jealousy, but we all want BC, BG, and BM to win for out local area. They don't play the advantage like Neumann Goretti, Cathedral Prep, Bishop Wood or Kennedy Catholic. The issue is the unfair ability to have the open border vs a public school boundary. This is a double edged sword to the private schools. They have the ability to have talent from all over enter their doors, but if parents don't send their kids the schools can hit rock bottom in no time. I have no problem if privates want to have the ability to legitimately recruit, however, I don't want them to be thrown in with the public schools and called equal. You can't throw a lion in with the sheep and call them equal.Awdhaemel wrote:Open borders for all schools, public and private, Go BG! Do superintendents that work for schools with 2-8 football teams only have one sport or do they compete in other sports as well? Or is this meeting just discussing separating football and leaving other sports with private and public schools?knowitall wrote:A better question is how many superintendents of schools with perennial 2-8 teams will travel at taxpayer expense to attend the meeting.

What I meant to say is once they've beaten us....then I cheer for them. Until that point, I want my team obviously.knowitall wrote:No. We don't.12HankQB wrote:No, you're fine.
