Congrats to Coach Lightner on being hired as Everett's head coach.

PC football players, I really want to be the Tyrone coach but if I don’t get it I want you all to sell out for me & be there for me. Lol that ought to go well
As for the Altoona job: does anyone have any names besides Phil Riccio for that job?

Altoona... could we see a return to PA football by Craig Sponsky?  Maybe a St. Francis University assistant has applied?  Should be interesting!

I’m interested to see who lands the PC job and what that hire will do to other local programs. If they hire a PC grad, he may pick a few coaches from other local squads!

How about FH... following “The Don” is an impossible situation, especially when AC12 is off to college.

How about Johnstown... I’ve always said that TP did a great job considering all of the distractions he had to deal with. The next coach better be willing to do more than normal and if you can get those kids on the same page... LOOK OUT!

So Franco tells PC to hold off, I am applying to Tyrone...great example for the kids. I hope he goes to Tyrone and loses and we can end all the "great Franco" talk. The talent in Tyrone is not there like it was 20 years ago..Wilson is a good coach, smart, he just did not have the talent that Franco had. And if I was wheeler I would stay put- Altoona football program has a lot of cactus needles...parents and players...

I hear there is a pretty good group of talent coming up in Tyrone . You see this all the time when coaches show up just as the talent is arriving and become the hero. Funny how the coaches leave when the talent dries up because of personal reasons , work schedule etc. but show up again when the talent returns. This includes assistants as well.
