One of the interesting ones is Colin Smith.
I thought he could have done really well as a D2 quarterback.
Should have his chance to play at Lackawanna this year. Hopefully that leads to something special.

I think Brandon Bailey went to WVU first for 2 years. One was as a redshirt year. Then transferred to UCONN and could play immediately since they were I-aa at that time. He did play a lot, but don't know how much. After 2 years at UConn could have played as a fifth year senior, but chose not to.

Add Jim Poldiak to the list of local QBs who excelled at Slippery Rock

Would Franco have been good qb at the Division 2 level?

Really thought he did a nice job as a senior as a QB, made big plays but also read the field and was willing to pick up short throws to move the chains that a lot of high school QBs don't do. Both he and Marco Pecora showed their athleticism at IUP, and obvious football IQ as college coaches now. One wonders if they could have been successful college QBs.
