The move would also make Portage 2A, as they are already the largest enrollment in 1A.

Pretty much ruining any chance PV QB Aaron Tobias had at the state passing TD record.davesandstorm wrote:Philipsburg is forfeiting their final 2 games to Clearfield and Penns Valley.

You play to win the game!!!
Re: Pull the plug
I heard they were down to 21 healthy players (from 37 total). That's a ton of injuries.davesandstorm wrote:Philipsburg is forfeiting their final 2 games to Clearfield and Penns Valley.

Re: Pull the plug
That’s crap if they have 21 and pulled plug. Tyrone dressed 19 for district championship (and won) my junior year.... if you’re hiding from a beating then maybe you shouldn’t have a team at allupnorth wrote:I heard they were down to 21 healthy players (from 37 total). Re: Pull the plug
The article said that they have 21 players left to dress. Only 8 of them have any varsity experience.EaglealumsGhost wrote:That’s crap if they have 21 and pulled plug. I understand that sounds like a realistic number to play the game, but if you have to play a kid that can barely survive a JV game, it may be safer to take that route. That’s a tough call to make. It’s easy to say make them play when you’re on the outside.
