Re: Cambria Heights to Heritage
Personally, I’ve always found trips to Bedford and Cambria Heights worse than BG.

Why didn't Heights speak-up when LV was leaving the Heritage? It could have been a smooth trade between the conferences. Classless move to leave the conference that has supported you for 30 years in the lurch.

TBF i think the LHAC ruffle some schools feathers when they took away the week 10 option for schools to schedule their own game. Wasnt heights the school that was thrilled to have the rivalry with Northern Cambria back?
Re: Cambria Heights to Heritage
Moving to the Heritage Conference would be a short-sighted dumb move for Cambria Heights. But hey the Heritage Conference is more than Athletics. They have robotics, art recognition, music recognition.

BG is a single A school located outside the LHAC's tri-county footprint. In another words it is a nuisance.
Re: Cambria Heights to Heritage
The LHAC really never had a chance for Ligonier Valley. When Ridge joined, LV declined to join. There was a faction of folks in Ligonier that wanted the Rams in the WPIAL, so the LHAC wasn't even an option when LV decided to leave the Heritage.Colonel Mustard wrote: ↑January 29th, 2020, 1:38 pm This is exactly why the LHAC should have added Ligonier Valley when they had the chance.

You mean back when kids weren’t transferring to a school 30 miles from where they lived?

Back in 2003-2007 they had kids on their basketball team from state college. Don’t remember anyone crying about it back then. People only cry about it when they are winning. But I get it. Jealousy is a hard thing to get over. I remember a few years ago the central cambria basketball team making a nice state playoff run. I was rooting for them as a fellow local team. To bad you can’t seem to do the same.

I think to make scheduling easier.
