Under ordinary circumstances I would agree that teams with two wins don’t belong in the playoffs. This year teams only played one half their schedule Which very easily could have been the toughest part of their schedule.

If I’m any of those smaller schools I agree I wouldn’t want to play a 1-5 McCort team round 1. But they likely won’t get past BG anyways

The NCAA is one step ahead of you, all 128 teams playing this year are eligible for bowl games.
