D6 1A-3A Playoff Picture
Re: D6 1A-3A Playoff Picture
No doubt the one AA bracket is weaker and in all likelihood the real AA championship game will be Richland at Bellwood on Oct. 30.
What is really favorable for Heights is that they get Southern coming off of two consecutive off weeks.
Onto the Single-A mess. BG could've saved themselves (and the D6 committee who appears to some to have catered to them) a lot of criticism if they had not opened their big fat mouths about a 14 day quarantine to the media last week and had downplayed it a bit till they got more solid information.

BM losses are to CH, Richland, CR and PC. All playoff bound, none in single A.
Somerset by one point.
Convincing won over reportedly strong CC team.
Are you going to argue Purchase Line, Blairsville, Saltsburg and even Williamsburg have playoff worthy resumes.
What would CV vs BM spread be in the second round?

yeah youngbuck, good point. if you look at the Mirror article on Oct. 14th and read their President's quote about DOH, then you read today's Mirror article quoting the AD, it is very contradictory.
Seems like people need to get their stories straight.

I also meant good point to ICC Fan, sorry!!
Re: D6 1A-3A Playoff Picture
Under ordinary circumstances I would agree that teams with two wins don’t belong in the playoffs. This year teams only played one half their schedule Which very easily could have been the toughest part of their schedule.

If I’m any of those smaller schools I agree I wouldn’t want to play a 1-5 McCort team round 1. But they likely won’t get past BG anywaysyoungbuck wrote: ↑October 19th, 2020, 11:22 amBM losses are to CH, Richland, CR and PC. All playoff bound, none in single A.

All good points about a 1-5 team entering the playoffs. If there is a college bowl season this year, just invite teams in based on how tough their schedule was, or maybe not living up to their potential, or the bad luck factor. Forget records. Who needs them.

The NCAA is one step ahead of you, all 128 teams playing this year are eligible for bowl games.El-Moldo wrote: ↑October 19th, 2020, 9:45 pm All good points about a 1-5 team entering the playoffs. Deserve: To do something, or show qualities worthy of reward. Does 1-5 fit the bill for the playoffs?
