Bedford vs Central

Post by EnzoLigoniere »

Appears that Bedford is the favorite, but now we have seen Central win a tough playoff game.

Who does Swaim from Bedford remind anyone of, any good comparisons?

That is terrible news on Hoenstine. He is a very good player. Hopefully he heels quickly and is ready for next football season.

As far as the game goes. I would have had Bedford roughly by about the same margin of the Bedford/Clearfield game. I think Bedford is really good and Central not quite on that level yet.

Central struggled with Tyrone, Bedford rolled a better Clearfield team..

Without their QB, hard to know what to expect... But, it will be hard to have anything even remotely close to the output that Hoenstine put out.

Swaim reminds me of Montgomery who ran the offense back when August Cook was fullback in 2015 I believe. Both athletically gifted and smooth operators of that offense. Montgomery went to Juniata I believe and had a successful college career. Who was the scat back on that '15 team. He was tough also. May have went to shepard?

Are prayers go out to Jeff down here in Tyrone. Man what a game of ups and downs on both sides. Parker Gregg gets an atta boy kid had a hell of a game. I was surprised up till the injury Tyrone was doing a good job of keeping Hoenstine in check. Coach Franco has us heading back in the right direction exciting years to come. Good luck with the rest of your season dragon might be the title game next year also.

Much appreciated and yes all the credit in the world to Tyrone and Franco. They easily could have folded going down 14-0 early but they made some adjustments and like u said kept The Dragons passing game in check. Parker Gregg for sure put the team on his back with a big boy performance especially on that GW drive. Kudos also to So. JV QB Rylan Daugherty coming in ice cold and completing a huge 4th and 7 pass to keep the drive going.
