In theory, this is why there are power points. But you still seem to get comparable points for beating a bad AAA vs a moderate A or AA

Better question, do power points need to be changed?

Based on yesterdays paper, PO's coach would say yes. But I don't know how you do that fairly.

CV and Bellwood should not have been seeded higher than opponents

Take away the shortened season and it would have more than likely worked itself out

How do you determine strength of schedule? Based on the previous year? Most teams only play within their conference (maybe 1 outside game).

Not sure how this would work out. Truth is, in normal years, the best team will win the district championship. They may beat the second best team in the semifinals (or quarterfinals) instead of the finals, but they usually still win.

In high school and college everything becomes subjective because you can’t play every team. You must live with an understandably flawed system.

For example, Richland has probably played their two toughest playoff games already. I don’t see Cambria Heights giving them much of a game. Central Cambria was probably the toughest matchup for Richland in AA, but they played in quarterfinals.
