Penn Cambria at Central

Post by Crimson's Ghost »

Penn Cambria (4-0) at Central (4-0) Friday 7 p.m.

Another big undefeated vs. undefeated showodown in the LHAC this week featuring two really good QB's

Central is No. 1 in D6AAA standing, and Penn Cambria is No. 2. Barring a surprise this season with only 5 teams in AAA, this is very likely a District championship preview.

Garrett Harrold 45/76 723 yards 7 touchdowns-3 INTs. 589 rushing yards and six TDs

Jeff Hoenstine 61/84 1,070 yards 19 TDs-1 INT.

Looking forward to it. Start of a tough 3 game stretch for Central with PC, Richland and Bedford the next 3 weeks.

42-21 Central

Now that we know what we know about BG, I feel Penn Cambria hasn’t really been tested yet and I don’t see them having an answer for Hoenstine.

Since Central hasn't been tested either. What do you think their answer is for Harrold??

Central played CR week 1. CR pushed them for a half and CR is a pretty solid team.

I think PC are pretenders in regards to being top tier (top 3 or 4) of the conference.. id put them in that 5-6 range..

Central IMO is top 2...

Harrold will account for 13 pts. Himself but wont be enough. Too many weapons on Central and PC secondary is not very good. Will be close for a half with Central pulling away in second by throwing, central 34- PC 13

It seems Felus has improved Penn Cambria, when he failed at Altoona, I realize they have only played a handful of games but nice to see an alumni at his school winning. Seems like the criteria to be a coach in the LHAC. Would be fun to see a 58 - 53 shootout with these two qbs slinging the pigskin all over.

Their answer will be extremely athletic linebackers. Harrold will score points, but Central has too many weapons offensively to make this game close, IMO.
