I agree with this one. We lost to them in a tough game in the playoffs and they made it quite far.

The best team I faced was the 98 United team. Strong at every position on the field.

The 93 Laurel Valley team was awesome, though. Lost a close one in the state semi's to Duquesne. LV was up at the half against a Duquesne team that hadn't let up a point all year.

That 98 United team. Tyrone and FH fans still have cold sweats over that team.

It was 1986. It's crazy how much that team is remembered by many who have no affiliation with that school.
I had a conversation with former Vo-Tech head coach Tony Penna Sr. awhile back. Not sure of the exact year, but he said Robbie Custer, who would have been a FH kid if there was no Vo Tech, was the fastest kid he ever saw tote the rock.
