Eli Lingenfelter’s 3 TD receptions give him 27 on the season tying the state single season record.

I was at the BG game. It was 13-7 in the 4th qtr and BG had first and goal. Didn’t score and SC drove to go up 21-7. BG broke a long run 40 yards or so and as the RB was getting tackled the SC player just took the ball and ran it back 70 yds to make it 28-7. That was with 6 minutes to go. Honestly this was a one score outstanding game for 3 1/2 quarters and then all the breaks went to SC. BG very easily could’ve won that game.

I was also at the game. While everything you said is 100% accurate..it is also true that if not for some bad penalties and turnovers by SC this game could have easily been a 3 TD spread at the half. SC dominated the LOS. That said...My hat is off to BG for fighting and playing with the confidence that they could win.. they always do which is a credit to their players and coaches.

I agree with you as well SC did dominate the game up front. I would add a few missed tackles to the turnovers and penalties that kept BG in the game. Several times they had Kiesewetter in the backfield dead to rights only to let him slip away for nice gains.

Also note as I said after the PV game last week if #1 was in the game I think he makes a big difference for BG. He was an outstanding player the last few years.

Agreed. That was a big loss for BG. He is a very solid defender
