I could make a case for BC or BG above Richland, not sure I can make a case for McCort and Johnstown over Richland.

My sleeper pick for 1A is Saltsburg they are very athletic and go 8 or 9 deep

Johnstown has a couple new guys, from what I hear, plus a really solid group of sophomores moving up. They should be really good, as long as they can find a ball-handler to replace Britt.

They always have a really good junior high team, but it doesn't always translate.  "New guys" is interesting. Gause is good, he can really dominate if he wants to. I think replacing Britt is huge, he really made them go last year.  They don't win as many games without him.

I still like Richland though, I think Burke-Instone is the best returning duo in the league. They have some question marks, but having a really good PG and a good post player is better than most teams can say.

Not to many teams have info on max preps but I check JHS and they have a lot of new players not on the team last year including a 6’7 senior.

Gause, Simon, and Chatman are all good players.  I think those three start for sure.  I have no idea what the 6-7 senior is like.  Markelle Nattile should get a chance to be the PG, I would think.

Manfred,  shouldn't FH have a pretty decent team?  Why would you drop them so low?  I am going with BC to win the Laurel Highlands.  I don't think I'd have CC as high as what Crimson has them (which isn't very high), didn't they lose 4 starters?

Yea I think CC, PC, and Ridge all lost four starters, that's why I have them all near the bottom. Rangers should have two starters back, three if Cecere plays. I guess maybe Manfred knows Cecere isn't playing?

That's official per today's Tribune Democrat. Cecere will not be playing basketball this year.
