Great effort from BG, Jessiah Witherspoon was unbelievable today.  That was a very entertaining game.

What a great game by a 2a private and a 2a charter school! They represented the state well and showed why they should be separated. We could have these types of games 1a-6a every year. Not blow outs in the championship.

I don’t think MCS is a charter school, and if it is it is confined to Philadelphia, you can’t live in Bucks County and attend there.  So again if they ever do a separation, the PIAA is keeping them and the entire Philadelphia Public League.

Whatever you call them they aren’t a public school that is restricted like a normal public school.

Restricted how?  Any student can attend any school in the state regardless of their designation (i.e. public, public charter, cyber charter, private).  You may have to pay tuition depending on the circumstances, the only "restrictions" that exist are certain charter schools like the ones in the School District of Philadelphia that only accept students from their school district.

Sure, but if all the Catholic schools in PA started their own league tomorrow, Math Civics and Science would still be in the PIAA.

On their school website they are listed as a charter school so they wouldn’t be part of the public playoffs should one ever come to be.
